Before a softball game between Cincinnati teams Archbishop McNicholas High School and Purcell Marian High School last week, players prayed for Purcell Marian student Kelsie Crow, an innocent bystander who was shot and killed after leaving a party at the YMCA in Walnut Hills, and for the PM school community. Players for the McNicholas Rockets gave their opponents in the PM Cavaliers roses “to remember their classmate and let them know we are keeping them close to our school’s heart.” Theology teacher Teresa Davis and Coach Willy Corbett worked together to make the idea a reality.
