Fr. Ryan Ruiz taking the Blessed Sacrament back inside Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West (Mt. Washington/Cincinnati) after leading more than 300 football players, coaches, and family members in the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary at the third annual Sports Leader Rosary Rally at The Athenaeum of Ohio at the end of July. A similar rally took place earlier in the month for football teams in the northern part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Held by Sports Leader, a faith- and character-building program for athletes, the rally was attended by Bishop Brossart, Elder, McNicholas, Moeller, Purcell Marian, Roger Bacon, and Summit Country Day High Schools, as well as players from La Salle High Schools and St. Xavier High School, and by players and coaches from the St. Gertrude/St. Elizabeth Ann Seton elementary and middle school teams. The one-hour rally included short talks by Sports Leader founder Lou Judd and Fr. Anthony Brausch.
