Eighth grader Brigid Devine of Indian Hill crowns Mary with a wreath of flowers in the historic chapel at The Summit Country Day School near Hyde Park/Cincinnati.May 1st. The statue, called “Rosa Mystica,” includes a depiction of the infant Jesus holding a golden rose and was brought from London by Sr. Agnes Markham, SNdN, in 1947. For the rest of the year, the statue stands vigil in the lobby outside the chapel.

An independent, K-12 Catholic school, The Summit was founded in 1890 and is one of the original schools in the Country Day School movement.
