A Mass for victims of the terrorist’s Bastille Day killing spree in Nice, France, held Friday at the seaside city’s Cathedral of St. Reparata.
According to the New York Times, among those present were famliies and friends of the 84 dead andmore than 200 injured; former President Nicolas Sarkozy; Christian Estrosi, president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region; Éric Ciotti, a member of the French National Assembly and president of the Alpes-Maritimes department; and National Assembly member Marion Maréchal Le Pen, niece of National Front Party leader Marine Le Pen.
Nice’s Bishop André Marceau, the bishop of Nice, celebrated the Mass.
