Photo: Little Sisters of the Poor Ready for Construction
Cincinnati’s Little Sisters of the Poor are ready to work on their nursing home’s bathhouse — all they need is money. They run the Archbishop St. Paul for the Aged entirely on donations, and donations are needed to renovate the old building’s bathing rooms (long corridors without much privacy or ventilation) into bathing suites. The building is home to 90 men and women of many races and religions who have no incomes. The Sisters have already raised $100,000 but need much more, so they’ve taken to the 21st-century way of asking for alms: GoFundMe. To contribute to their fund, click here.
