Fr. Lawrence Juarez, Parochial Vicar at Old St. Mary’s Church (Over-the-Rine/Cincinnati), celebrates midday Mass ad orientem (facing east, with the assembly) on Monday of Holy Week. In an old tradition that’s making something of a comeback, statues throughout the church are veiled for Lent.
