Covington Catholic High School awarded senior Coire Ayres the new Dr. Jerome & Marianne Schutzman Scholarship last month. The $1000 award will be given annual for faith and character, with a specific emphasis on pro-life activities. The Schutzmans requested that it be announced and awarded in January, known for the March for Life and other pro-life celebrations. CovCath surprised Ayres with the scholarship during class. Ayres and his family live in Fr. Michell and are members of St. Agnes parish.
