Members of the Catacoustic Consort practice for a performance at Old St. Mary’s Church (Over-the-Rhine/Cincinnati) earlier this year. Now administered by the Community in Formation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri in Cincinnati, which hopes to evangelize the area’s young, arts-loving community with music and art, the church is host to numerous concerts throughout the year.

Founded by musician Annalisa Pappano to present early music as alive and vibrant through concerts and other events, the Catacoustic Consort recently completed its 15th concert season with the world’s first performance of a never-presented French Baroque opera.
