Notre Dame Glee Club Making Surprise Cincinnati Appearance
Heads up, fans of collegiate glee clubs and Notre Dame: the University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club will make a last-minute stop in Cincinnati next month during its 100th anniversary season tour.
It’s the first time in seven years the famed a capella group will perform in the Queen City.
When a spot on the club’s centennial tour opened unexpectedly the Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati was thrilled to take it. St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Kenwood (OH) will host the concert on March 11th.
“We’re scrambling to make this happen,” says club spokesperson Jamie Eifert. “They are a fantastic group and this will be a wonderful concert.”

The 45-member club’s program will feature a variety of sacred and secular pieces including medieval and classical works, folk songs, barbershop harmonies, African-American spirituals, and more.
There is no charge for the 8 pm performance in the church sanctuary, but a donation of $10 is suggested.
The Notre Dame Club and St. Vincent Ferrar invite all concert-goers to make a night of it and have dinner at the parish fish fry, which begins at 5:30, and to pray the Stations of the Cross from 7 – 7:30.
The Notre Dame Club of Greater Cincinnati serves the more than 1600 graduates, students, and friends of the Notre Dame in the tristate. In 2015, the club provided $130,000 in scholarship support to local students attending Notre Dame and sponsored 106 events, including opportunities for community service, continuing education, and Catholic/Christian spirituality. Anyone with a passion for Notre Dame is welcome, whether or not they attended the University.
