First Graduate at Royalmont Classical Prep
The new Royalmont Academy Classical Preparatory High School in Mason (OH) has graduated its first student: Isaac Chmeil.
The newest initiative of Royalmont Academy, an independent Catholic school associated with Regnum Christi, RA Prep began offering all four grades this academic year. It also offers dual enrollment with Mount St. Joseph University.
The school’s growth, previously limited by its rented space, became possible after Royalmont purchased a former Mason elementary school campus in 2012.
In a ceremony following a baccalaureate Mass in the school’s chapel, Chmeil told other students to “allow God to be for you, accepting His will as it will prevail. Don’t be afraid to be a leader, take the initiative, step out of the ordinary and take the opportunity to take the steps to lead.”
Chmeil, who attended Royalmont’s elementary school program and completed his first three years of high school online through the K-12 online school program, has been accepted to both Ave Maria University and Marian University. He will defer college for a year to join the Regnum Christi Mission Corps. He plans to major in Business and hopes to play football as a walk-on.
