Celebrate all things Italian this weekend with St. Catharine of Siena School, San Antonio parish, and several area societies. Food, music, games, and more, plus a Marian procession and a special visit from Sacred Heart Radio's Anna Mitchell.

A festival, a hike, ordinations, the 10th Annual Rosary Rally at the Pit, May Festival concerts, Memorial Day field Masses and more: some events this week.

May 15-17, CincItalia Festival at Harvest Home Park (Cheviot/Cincinnati). St. Catharine of Siena Catholic School sponsors this three-day festival,  along with the Fuscaldese Society, the United Italian Society, and San Antonio Italian Church, celebrating all things Italian. Nightly music (including Italian bands), carnival rides, an Italian Market, mustache contest, Marian procession (Sunday at 2 pm), cooking demonstrations by Giovanna Trimpe and Rita Heikenfeld,  special appearance by Sacred Heart Radio’s Anna Mitchell, Italian food and wines, more. May 16, Pilgrimage of Faith West Side Trail Hike. Choice of 10 or 20 mile route. Individuals and groups welcome. Download the trail flier and map here. Hike at your own pace.

May 16, Priest Ordinations at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption (Covington), 10 am.

May 16, Priest Ordinations at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral (Cincinnati), 11 am

May 17, 10th Annual Rosary Rally at Elder High School’s “The Pit” Football Stadium (Price Hill/Cincinnati), 1:30 pm. Moves inside in case of rain. Nearly 2000 people attended last year; more are expected for the anniversary. Procession; Benediction; songs and prayers; recitation of the rosary; release of a giant rosary made of helium-filled balloons; more. Join area Catholics, priests, and Elder students uniting in prayer.
