May 15-17, CincItalia Festival at Harvest Home Park (Cheviot/Cincinnati). St. Catharine of Siena Catholic School sponsors this three-day festival, along with the Fuscaldese Society, the United Italian Society, and San Antonio Italian Church, celebrating all things Italian. Nightly music (including Italian bands), carnival rides, an Italian Market, mustache contest, Marian procession (Sunday at 2 pm), cooking demonstrations by Giovanna Trimpe and Rita Heikenfeld, special appearance by Sacred Heart Radio’s Anna Mitchell, Italian food and wines, more. May 17, 10th Annual Rosary Rally at Elder High School’s “The Pit” Football Stadium (Price Hill/Cincinnati), 1:30 pm. Moves inside in case of rain. Nearly 2000 people attended last year; more are expected for the anniversary. Procession; Benediction; songs and prayers; recitation of the rosary; release of a giant rosary made of helium-filled balloons; more.
