Some upcoming Catholic events:

 

July 12-15, Glenmary Home Missioners Come & See Mission Tour. Discernment tour beginning at Glenmary headquarters in Cincinnati and traveling to current missions. Includes time for personal reflection and prayer. For information email Br. David at dhenley@glenmary.org

 

July 12, 13, Immaculate Heart of Mary Homeschooling Conference at St Peter Catholic Church, Dayton. Author Joseph Pearce will be the keynote speaker in a session open to the public. More information to come; for preliminary information click here.

  

July 13, Latinofest 2013 at St. Leo the Great parish (Cincinnati.) Holy Family, Good Savior, St. Charles Borromeo/San Carlos Borromeo, and other partner parishes will provide music all day. Guatemalan, Mexican and Salvadorian food; Mass, and more. St. Leo’s Guatemalan Community hopes to construct a special Alfrombra en Antigua Guatemala—a “carpet” made out of dyed wood fiber. Mass at 4:30, festival until 9 pm.

 

July 14-19, Rooted in the Vine Justice and Service Event for area high school youth at St. Vincent de Paul-Cincinnati headquarters. Prayer, meetings with agencies working for justice, a neighborhood cookout, and other activities. For information and registration, click here.

 

July 16, A Leap of Faith: St. Susanna for Today, a West Chester Theology on Tap Series talk at Champs Sports Bar. Jen Williamson presents. Social/eating time 7 pm, program and Q&A follows at 7:30.

 

July 21, Day of Reflection with Miles Christi priests at Divine Mercy Parish (Bellevue, KY). Rosary at 12:40, Sunday Mass at 1 pm followed by Eucharistic Adoration, two talks, and Confession. Reception at approximately 4 pm. Come for some or all. For information call Joe Martino at (513) 891-7301.
