Fr. David Endres will give a talk at on papal documents that changed history at St. Xavier Church in Downtown Cincinnati Sunday.

Feb. 26-27, 24 Hours for the Lord, Confession offered for 24 consecutive hours at a variety of Northern Kentucky churches. A Year of Mercey and Lenten event. For the list of parishes, click here.

Feb. 26, Talk on Spirit by Kathleen Donnellan at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Anderson Twp., OH), 7 pm. Part of IHM’s Friday Lenten speaker series. No charge. You are also invited to pray the Rosary at 6:25 and the Stations of the Cross at 6:30. Come early for the hearty fish fry!

Feb. 26, Vigil Praise at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West (Mt. Washington/Cincinnati), 7 pm. Spend an evening worshipping our Eucharistic Lord at the next Vigil Praise, held at St. Gregory the Great Chapel. Hosted by the seminarians. Music, prayer, Eucharistic exposition. Feb. 27, Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours Concert at St. Xavier Performance Center (Cincinnati), 7:30 pm.  Greater Cincinnati Performing Arts Society Concert; a portion of every ticket sale goes to Catholic elementary education. Feb. 28, “[Holy] Father Knows Best: Papal Writings that Changed the Church and the World” talk by Fr. David Endres at St. Xavier Church (Cincinnati), noon. The seminary’s new dean, Fr. Endres, will talk about some of the most influential papal writings in the modern world; part of the St. Xavier Sunday Speaker Series. Feb. 28, Cantigium Vocal Ensemble Concert at St. Boniface Church (Northside/Cincinnati), 7:30 pm. In addition to their usual repertoire of music from five centuries of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the group will also perform pieces by  20th century composers who overtly pay homage to their forebears. Feb . 28. Lenten Vespers and Concert at The Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West, 7 pm. Chapel of St. Gregory the Great.

Feb. 28, Supercharge Your Soul Retreat with Fr. Nathan Cromley at Our Lady of the Holy spirit Center (Norwood, OH), 8 am – 6 pm. Delve deep into the life of the Church with the Community of Saint John in a day of formation, prayer and reflection.
