Nov. 24 – January 27: “At the Manger: Peace on Earth” Annual Nativity Scene Display at the University of Dayton, no charge. Three floors of displays from the largest collection of nativity scenes in the United States and perhaps the world. Tours available; times vary. Nov. 24, Grand Open House at the University of Dayton Libraries, 1 – 5 pm. UD begins its annual display of nativity scenes from around the world with a one-day Open House featuring children’s activities, live entertainment by the Dayton International Festival Singers and renowned guitarist Jim McCutcheon, Stable Shop, light refreshments, and (for die-hard fans) a college football viewing area. No charge.
Nov. 25, Kevin Grace Talk and Book Signing, “Irish Cincinnati” at St. Vincent de Paul Church on River Road, 1 pm. How the Irish changed the religious, political, and social makeup of Cincinnati.
Nov. 26 – Dec. 17 (Mondays): Advent Lunch with the Lord series, Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains, following 11:30 Mass. Fr. Barry Windholtz and Msgr. Frank Lane will reflect on the Season of Advent. For information call (513) 421-5354.

Nov. 29: Angel Night at Calvary Cemetery (Dayton). Angel statues around the historic garden cemetery will be illuminated for night carriage tours.
Nov. 29, Beer Tasting for Theology on Tap Clifton, Martino’s, 7 pm. Bro. Tim Sucher, OFM, and Greg Hardman, President and CEO of the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company will speak on the history of beer in Cincinnati and the spirituality of beer. Complimentary beer tasting (for those 21 and over).
Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 Annual Sarah Center Holiday Boutique. Local artists and vendors, fair trade iems.For more than 10 years, Sarah Center in Over-the-Rhine (1618 vine Street) has helped women develop their talents to provide supplemental income for themselves and their families. The sale of their unique local artwork helps area families in need — half of each sale goes to the artist and the rest goes back to the center. For information and hours call (513) 549-0598.
